Hi there! This would be your friendly neighborhood crazy person bidding you hello and good day! My name is Kathryn, but please be so kind as to call me Kat, Kadee, Komae, or...Any of the names on the above banner. XD

At current (September 24th, 2009), I am 22 years old as of May 18th. I live with my husband (

himochikouen) and mother after recently losing my father on May 11th, 2009. I'm currently working (albeit slowly) on a blog here on LJ to chronicle his condition and accomplishments.

I met my husband through a mutual friend going on ten years ago now, and after long-distance dating between Canada and Florida for just a few months, he traveled the many hundreds of miles to meet me in person for the first time. After two years of his living with my family, we were married on September 25th, 2007.

I graduated highschool at 14 years old, having been homeschooled for a few years after the first year of middleschool. I rank college level in many areas; including mathematics; and am addicted to numbers and equations, though I falter some in geometry. I'm also interested in religion, chemistry, and mythology, and dabble here in there in psychology, astrology, astronomy, and the occult.

The entirety of my circle of friends I have met online, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love each and every one of them, and unlike the "friends" I had supposedly made in school and through work, I've never felt the need to explain or defend myself to any of them. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!

I'm addicted to music and singing, and my taste in such is eclectic; ranging from Nightwish and Sonata Arctica, to Nickelback and 3 Doors Down, to Black Eyed Peas and Matisyahu, to The Pillows and Ayumi Hamasaki. You can occasionally catch me listening to Country and Bluegrass, though I do very much like some Spiritual, Native American, and Asian orchestral works. I also have been known to listen to Classical works by those such as Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart to wind down.

I'm a gamer by heart, and am drawn to survival horror games such as Resident Evil, Eternal Darkness, and the downloadable Wiiware game Lit, as well as shootemups like Gears Of War, Splinter Cell, and TimeSplitters. You can also find me playing things like Prince Of Persia, Legend Of Zelda, and SoulCalibur, while still very much enjoying more childish or family-oriented games like Harvest Moon, Rockman.EXE, The Sims, and OF COURSE...POKEMON. Basically as long as it's fun, amusing, gory, bloody, or complicated, I'll play it. You can even find me online gaming at places like GaiaOnline and RuneScape, and my newest kick...Flyff! If you'd like to catch me at any of these places, drop me a line and we'll see what we can do about exchanging info.
I love to read as well, usually horror, mystery, or romance. I love Edgar Allen Poe and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle especially, as well as Lillian Jackson Braun and Leigh Greenwood. I was introduced to the "Twilight" series as well, and enjoy them quite a bit, and am always open to looking for some new authors. I write far more than I read, however, and perhaps someday I'll get some of my fanfiction and maybe a bit of my original work posted accessible to the many people who have told me they enjoy what they've seen from me.

I, of course, am an anime and manga addict, and I won't even ATTEMPT to try and list all of those I am a fan of; I'd have you reading all day and all night. Among my favorites are Hellsing, Rockman.EXE, Detective Conan, InuYasha, Mars, Absolute Boyfriend, Sand Chronicles, and the cult favorite Sailor Moon. I write fanfiction for many of my anime fandoms, as well as for my gaming fandoms as well, and enjoy every minute of my creative madness!

If you want to talk TV, I mostly watch Comedies such as "Big Bang Theory", "Two And A Half Men" and "Frasier", but I also watch some of the drama-esque series like "NCIS" and "The Mentalist". If you want to talk movies, I'm stuck to horror movies, such as the Resident Evil trilogy and classics like "The Fog" and "Alien". I do enjoy a good comedy though, like "Blazing Saddles" and "Stir Crazy", and as you can tell, my favorite actor is easily Gene Wilder. Favorite actress? Sandra Bullock.

I'm also a web designer and graphics artist. I've had numerous websites that have slowly begun to merge into one, which I'm currently redesigning, and I create custom profile layouts for GaiaOnline users as well. You can find me uploading some random things here and there to my DA account, which can include PS7 brushes, pixel dolls, and random doodles. In general, I just love designing things!

There's not too much else to say about me, but if I can think of anything I can assure you it will be added here at some point. Enjoy what you may find from me here and elsewhere!
